Anchor House Marine Surveys

Marine Surveys Along The Solent

A marine or yacht survey is an essential part of any yacht purchase and ownership. Far from being a general check-over, it is an in-depth inspection of the yacht's structure, machinery and systems. Whether for purchase, insurance, finance or valuation, a survey will give you the confidence that your intended or current pride and joy is in great shape.

Anchor House Marine Surveys is based close to the Hamble river in Hampshire, covering all marinas and boatyards along the Solent, from Chichester to Poole. Whilst always happy to go further afield, particular emphasis is placed on those marinas and boatyards in and around the Southampton and Portsmouth regions.
With over 2 decades of experience surveying modern and older yachts, classic yachts and even historic ships, we can help with any survey request. We deal with all sailing and motor yachts of GRP, steel and wood construction and all surveys are accompanied with a very thorough and comprehensive report, telling the buyer or owner everything they need to know.
Finally, as an Associate Member of the International Institute of Marine Surveying, you can be guaranteed that all surveys are of a professional quality and in compliance with all IIMS standards. We also hold full trade and public liability insurance up to £5m.
